A 2008 article in the Oregonian called Southeast Portland’s Lents neighborhood a “diamond in the rough.” Located just over six miles southeast of Downtown, Lents is one of Portland’s largest, oldest, and most diverse locations. Founded in 1892, Lents was built as a suburb of Portland, and wasn’t annexed to the city itself until 1912. The neighborhood is almost four square miles.

Lents has a great mix of residential communities while still being close to major roadways for easy access to other parts of town.
